Triggered to Tranquil: Turning Uncertainty into Personal Growth

There’s an interesting thing that happens to us when we commit to a goal, dream or calling. “Things” will bubble up and bother us that we never seemed to notice before. What’s happening is that this new version we are stepping into is not compatible with some of our current thoughts, beliefs, conditioning, and especially unprocessed stuck emotions. I am seeing this with my journey of calling in/attracting my divine compatible soul mate! I have had TRIGGERS!

Triggers don’t mean we can’t live with grace, ease, joy and flow. In fact it’s the opposite!

These things that are bubbling up for us are the pieces we currently are holding on to that are preventing us from living with grace, ease, joy and flow in the new version of ourselves and our life.

The question then becomes, how can we navigate these things on our path in a conscious way so that we do not just see the trigger, but instead, use it to propel us into the next version of ourselves and closer to our goal?

Here’s a several powerful perspectives and practices that have supported me in navigating the choppy waters of change in my life with more grace and ease:

  1. Understand that what is coming up, no matter how uncomfortable, is for your benefit! It is actually part of your pruning process that will support you in creating, expanding into, achieving and manifesting that very THING you desire! We can’t achieve our goal, vision, or dream by staying the same! Change is absolutely necessary – and that change starts from the inside out. Making just this one perspective shift can save you a lot of pain and suffering!
  2. Surrender to the un-comfortableness and uncertainty and know that in time you will have clarity and resolution. Relax your mind and body! Breathe deeply when things get intense and remind yourself that being uncomfortable and uncertain comes with growth. Our ego wants certainty and to keep you safe. Growth is outside what the ego knows so it gets a bit freaked out with change. As a conscious being, you can override the ego and surrender.
  3. Become really good at asking questions! This is a game-changer!!! When you ask “I wonder what” or “I wonder how” you are opening to infinite possibilities. This, combined with being open for guidance, will help you connect with your inner guidance system that can offer wisdom beyond what your mind knows. You can also ask God/Source/Universe (or any other higher power you identify with) to guide you as well. I do a combo of both in my life.
  4. Stillness is key. After asking your questions, take time in stillness to listen for guidance. When we go through these uneasy times we are being asked to slow down, go inward and pay attention to the messages we are receiving. Stay really present to the signs you are receiving from others as well. Give yourself the time and space in your day and with your commitments to receive answers and support.
  5. Do some self parenting! There is a younger version of yourself that is experiencing this pain, un-comfortableness or fear. Sitting and speaking to this part of you can help you not only face this issue but to bring some love, compassion and non-judgement that you may not have had in the past. Now is the time for you to give yourself the gift of love and support! Give that hurting part of you a big hug and let that part of you know you have their back and they are safe. This has been a very powerful practice for me in the past year that has helped me move through some deep stuff!

Take some time to experience and implement these practices. Feel your way through them in your own way and time. There is no right or wrong way to do them. Again, a key element is giving yourself space to face these things, being compassionate and non-judgemental, and then receiving the guidance that is there for you.

Unlock Life-Changing Potential: Commitment Matters

There is a powerful energy here on the planet right now. We are all being called to elevate who we are being – more awareness, consciousness, healing, joy, abundance, fulfillment and success. To do this, we must remain committed to ourselves! The good news is, there is no one right way to do this. It is truly an individual thing that everyone has the opportunity to travel in a way that fits them best. I am excited to bring you an excerpt from my book “Radiant Achievement’ that offers up numerous additional practices and activities
